About TheFootballHub
European football, gathered and summarised
TheFootballHub follows European football and publishes short summaries of what the established outlets are reporting — transfers, match results, squad news and the decisions around them. The aim is a single page you can scan in a minute instead of ten tabs.
How the articles are made
This is an automated newsroom. Software watches the football feeds every few hours, reads the reporting behind each headline, and writes a short summary of it. Each article names the outlet the reporting came from.
Being open about that matters more to us than sounding bigger than we are: the writing is machine-generated, and no journalist reviews every piece before it appears.
What that means for you
- Summaries can be wrong where the original is right. Where the two disagree, believe the outlet we credit, not us.
- We add no reporting of our own. No sources, no exclusives, no opinion — if a fact is not in the reporting we summarised, it should not be in our article.
- Photographs are illustrative. They come from Pexels and are credited to their photographers. A picture of a stadium is not a picture of the event described.
How accuracy is checked
Every figure an article contains — fees, dates, scores, appearances — is compared against the source reporting before publication. Anything that cannot be matched is rewritten, and if it still cannot be matched the article is discarded rather than published. It is a narrow check: it catches invented numbers, not every possible error.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, write to hello@thefootballhub.net with the article link. We will correct or remove it. Publishers who believe an article misuses their work should use the same address.
League tables
The tables are not written by anyone — they are the standings themselves, refreshed from an open football data service every few hours. Football data provided by the Football-Data.org API.
Club badges are deliberately absent. They belong to the clubs, and a licence to use the data is not a licence to use the crest.
How it is funded
Advertising, served by Adsterra. We take no payment for coverage and nothing on this site is sponsored. What we cover is decided by what the football feeds carry, not by anyone paying for it.
