Swansea City secured a 2-1 victory against Norwich City, with Adam Idah playing a pivotal role in the comeback. The Republic of Ireland striker, who began his career at Norwich, scored a crucial header in the 59th minute, overcoming an earlier missed opportunity in the first half. Swansea had initially fallen behind to Jacob Wright's goal, but they managed to rally in the second half to maintain their position at the top of the Championship table.
The match began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm, as Swansea appeared a bit rusty following the international break. They were without Stephen Eustaquio due to injury, joining Josh Key on the sidelines. Norwich, missing their top scorer Mohamed Toure, took advantage of Swansea's disjointed start and opened the scoring through Wright after a well-executed counter-attack.
Moussa Yeo brought Swansea level shortly after the second half began, scoring his third goal in as many games. The equaliser came from a well-placed cross by Josh Tymon, which Yeo converted at the back post. Swansea's attacking momentum grew, leading to more chances, including a close effort from Idah that was saved by Norwich's goalkeeper, Vladan Kovacevic.
Idah's decisive moment came shortly thereafter when he headed home from a precise cross by Melker Widell, putting Swansea ahead. Despite Idah limping off shortly after his goal, Swansea maintained their lead. Norwich had a couple of late opportunities to equalise, but Swansea's goalkeeper, Lawrence Vigouroux, made crucial saves to secure the win.
