Millwall staged a remarkable comeback to secure a 2-2 draw against Lincoln City in the Championship after trailing by two goals. The Imps took an early lead just 25 seconds into the match with a goal from Andrei Coubis, who struck from outside the box, hitting the far post. Lincoln's second goal came in the 33rd minute when Rob Street's shot went through the legs of Millwall goalkeeper Filip Marschall, putting the visitors in a commanding position.
Despite their early struggles, Millwall began to find their rhythm in the second half. They came close to scoring when Kyrell Lisbie's shot was saved by Lincoln's goalkeeper George Wickens. The Lions eventually broke through in the 63rd minute when Lisbie scored his first goal for the club, converting a low cross from Camiel Neghli after his initial attempt was blocked.
Lincoln had opportunities to extend their lead, hitting the post twice shortly after the restart. Freddie Draper and Dom Jefferies both came close to scoring, but were denied by Millwall's defence. As the game progressed, Millwall's pressure increased, leading to a tense finish as they sought an equaliser against a Lincoln side that was beginning to falter.
The equaliser finally arrived in the 82nd minute when Jake Cooper capitalised on a corner, forcing the ball home from close range. Millwall's momentum continued to build, but Lincoln faced a further setback when Deji Elerewe was sent off for a last-man foul, leaving the visitors to defend their point with ten men in the closing minutes of the match. The draw prevented Millwall from suffering back-to-back home defeats and provided a much-needed boost for both teams after their recent results.
