Van Dijk labels claims he influenced World Cup tactics as 'utter nonsense'

Virgil van Dijk has responded to claims that he pressured former Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman to change tactics during the World Cup. He reiterated that the narrative suggesting he had 'destroyed Dutch football' is completely baseless and unfair.

He shared that a recent meeting with Xavi reaffirmed his importance to the squad.
