Jamal Musiala, the Bayern Munich winger, has provided an update on his health after collapsing during a match for the second time in just four days. The 23-year-old fell to the ground shortly after being substituted into a friendly against FC Heidenheim, following a similar incident in a previous match against RB Leipzig.
Musiala has been diagnosed with treatable absence seizures, which he attributes to a neurological dysfunction. He reassured fans that there is no long-term health risk associated with his condition and expressed gratitude for the support he has received.
In an Instagram post, Musiala explained that while the seizures may appear alarming, they are manageable and part of his daily life. He emphasised that he is receiving excellent medical care and remains optimistic about his recovery. Musiala also noted that he wishes to keep the matter private, sharing details only with his close circle and medical professionals.
